The Village Roadshow Gold Coast Marathon is approaching! With a 41-year history, this marathon is one of the most prestigious. It is a must-see because of its famous flat, speedy, and scenic route tucked among the city’s renowned surf beaches, magnificent broadwater, and great winter running weather.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks Gold Coast Marathon

The 42.195km run begins at 6 a.m. on July 3. Thousands of people are attempting to beat their personal bests on Australia’s flattest, fastest, and most picturesque track. You’ll be running south down the city’s renowned surf beaches to the Burleigh Heads turn point, then north to Paradise Point before being championed to the finish chute near the Broadwater in Southport.

CPL Wheelchair Marathon + CPL Wheelchair 10km

The CPL Wheelchair Marathon has a 42.195km distance set on July 3 at 5:55 a.m, while the 10km run is at 6:25 a.m. It follows the rules of Athletics Australia, World Para Athletics, and World Athletics, which indicate that the marathon is an athletics event and that only a recognized racing wheelchair is authorized. No hand cycles or mechanical gears are allowed.

ASICS Half Marathon

This half marathon is 21.095 kilometres long. It’s on July 2 at 6 a.m. On your way back from Southport to Paradise Point, take the world-class course while enjoying the lovely Broadwater.

Southern Cross University 10km Run

On Sunday, July 3 at 6:30 a.m., take part in the Southern Cross University 10km Run in extraordinary circumstances. Take in the stunning water views from Sundale Bridge while running alongside the Gold Coast broadwater.

Gold Coast Airport 5km Fun Run

The Gold Coast Airport Fun Run is a fun event for all that begins at 10:10 a.m. on Saturday, July 2. Elite starts will be available for the first time at this race, with prize money handed to the first three male and female finishers!

Health and Wellbeing Queensland 4km Junior Dash

The Health and Wellbeing Queensland 4km Junior Dash will take place on July 2 at 9:40 a.m. for children aged 5 to 14. Run alongside some of the world’s best athletes and enjoy the support of family and friends in our famed finish chute.

Health and Wellbeing Queensland 2km Junior Dash

The Health and Wellbeing Queensland 2km Junior Dash is ideal for children aged 5 to 10. It takes place on July 2 at 9:25 a.m. If a parent or guardian believes it is necessary, they may accompany their child.
