Gold Coast Show 2021 – Celebrating 114 Years
Gold Coast Show is just around the corner!
Here it comes… the Gold Coast’s largest annual celebration of surf, country and coastal living, boasting a brand new program that’s going to be bigger than ever for its 114th anniversary.
If you’re yet to visit the Gold Coast, Gold Coast Show is the ultimate showcase of what the Gold Coast is about, delivering a three-day program bursting with live entertainment, attractions and activities, local food and exhibitors, competitions, animal displays and more.
It’s family-friendly, held on a weekend and FREE to attend for all – so there’s no excuse to miss it.
This year’s Gold Coast Show will include familiar crowd-favourites such as competitive wood chopping, show dogs and horse riding – plus Showbag Pavilion and Side Show Alley – in addition to a host of new attractions: camel rides on the beach, baby animal farms, as well as a huge opening night concert on the Great Lawn Main Stage starring country star James Blundell.
As with each year, there will be a diverse spread of local market stalls and food trucks scattering the Broadwater Parklands, offering homewares, gifts, souvenirs, plants, handmade crafts and, of course, mouth-watering regional food, wine and craft beer.

The Gold Coast Show comes to the Southport Broadwater Parklands on August 27, August 28 and August 29.
BLEACH Festival – Also Coming August

Just two weeks before the Gold Coast Show, BLEACH Festival will take over the coast with 11 full days of music, dance, theatre and live outdoor art.
BLEACH Festival, held annually, is the region’s biggest showcase of local and regional performing artists, celebrating art, culture, as well as heritage.
The program is mixed, offering something for all with most of its events 100% FREE to enjoy.
This includes the must-see Opening and Closing Ceremonies (First Light and Last Light), which this year will feature Emma Donovan, Myora Stone, Yugumbeh Aboriginal dancers and Yugumbeh Choir, as well as a stunning 10,000-strong community candle lighting on the beach.
Other highlight events at BLEACH Festival 2021 include Briggs live in Justins Park, plus ARIA Award-winning singer-songwriter Sarah Blasko performing in the Gold Coast Botanic Gardens.
