The first Gold Coast Beer and Cider Festival is finally happening after being delayed in 2021 owing to border constraints. On October 22, the inaugural Gold Coast Beer and Cider Festival from the founders of Canberra Craft Beer & Cider Festival and the Hunter Valley Wine & Beer Festival will take place at Broadwater Parklands from 11 am to 5 pm.
This community event is a Schwartz Family Company initiative. The Schwartz Family Company is happy to have organised such an event to showcase the Gold Coast’s most refined. The company is committed to assisting local communities and businesses. So expect a memorable event filled with a wide selection of beer, cider, and gourmet food options.
Event Lineup
At the event, you may meet more than 40 of the top regional and national craft breweries and sample up to 300 of their beers and ciders. The 2022 Gold Coast Beer and Cider Festival include:
4 Hearts Brewing Company
The brew masters at 4 Hearts, the first brewery to start in Ipswich in over a century, are dedicated to using only the best regional ingredients. There is never a dull flavour pouring in their brewery because of the seasonal small batch brews that complement their core offering. Beers from 4 Hearts Brewing are a tribute to Ipswich, its people, and its history.
BentSpoke Brewing Co
Richard Watkins, an Australian champion brewer, and Tracy Margrain founded BentSpoke Brewing Co. The two travelled the globe in search of ideas for their dream brewery. BentSpoke opened its doors on June 6, 2014, amid resounding support from the neighbourhood. After seven years and numerous accolades, BentSpoke has a solid reputation in the Australian beer sector.
Sydney Brewery
Each beer is brewed and packaged in their Lovedale production facility to suit various tastes. While their ciders, which are created entirely from fruit grown in Australia, are also very diverse. Sydney Brewery is a proudly Australian-owned, independent business.
While sipping your drink, you can also indulge in local gourmet meals from vendors. Families are also welcome because there will be many kid-friendly activities like face painting. There will be live music performances all day long at the festival. A charity raffle will also benefit the Gold Coast Rural Fire Brigade Group at the Gold Coast Beer and Cider Festival.
Tickets are now available. Take note that young people under 18 can attend for free. You can also purchase Tasting tickets throughout the event, so carry cash or a credit card.
